Red Sky at Night
‘Red Sky at Night’ is a series of paintings that found life in my studio as a result of COVID lockdown. Confined to home, my balcony became my place of creation and skies my source of inspiration. For hours I observed clouds slowly traverse the horizon like camel trains rhythmically crossing the desert, and as the day slowly faded, dusty pinks of the evening light turn to vermilion and every other red in-between.
